The BackOffice Software (BOS)
he basic advantage of the
internet computer trading is if the clients can have access
to the information and trade at will. With the
on-line trading facility at ZSL
the client can do exactly that. Our state of the art back
office software takes care of all the trading needs.
¨ Equity Module
¨ Custody Module
¨ General Ledger
¨ Internet Trading Client
With the Straight Through Processing (STP) linked to the Ultra Trade Software of LSE the client can logon to our server and place his trade execution. The order passes through our back office software, where it is checked for the trading compliance and margin settings and if the criterion therein set, are met, the back office software passes the order on to Ultra via the STP.
The ZSL BOS is a functionally rich back-office system designed to provide complete back office as well as front-office internet trading functionality with order management capability, equity and custody services, exposure and authority control and comprehensive general ledger system. BOS provides flexible end-to-end solution to brokerage houses with interfaces to the trading, central depository and the national clearing systems. It is fully compliant to all the settlement regimes of the National Clearing System.
The BOS is configured as a multi-branch system with controlled access to the trading and accounting features that branches can access through a central server at head-office. With STP feature the brokers will only need a single Ultra terminal hosted from a large number of internet clients connecting through the back-office. Strict margin control will ensure that no margin violation is allowed from any of the operational internet trading terminals that can operate from any destination.
A scenario for our back office is depicted below. It shows seamless interface among the various branches, internet clients and the back-office central server. Strict central control will always ensure that additional branches can be added without increasing the risk.
The strength of ZSL lies in its ability to manage and operate its large client base, this can not be possible without a state of the art back office software. Once again the management of ZSL realized that the obsolete back office software which was used successfully for such a long time will not serve the purposes or keep up with the trend of the future, further the vast potential of the internet can not be exploited with out upgrading its back-office. ZSL embarked on a mission to provide its clients with web enabled trading system. Once again taking lead it has successfully launched its newest tool.
